Stand on the edge of Thirlmere reservoir at Armboth or Dogbill overlooking the water. Put on your headphones and tune your FM radio (maybe on your mobile phone) in to 88.0 MHz. Let your mind drift while you listen to the sounds of the city before you, rising out of the water.

This work was part of FRED: an art invasion across Cumbria. Over 16 days 60 British and international artists showed work outdoors across Cumbria in Europe’s largest event of its kind.

Under The Waters consisted of two audio pieces of 25 minutes in duration.
